Features and benefits

• Principle of operation:

1. Connect your pool's filter pump to the solar panel. The pump transmits cold water to the solar panel.
2. The sun heats the water from the solar panel.
3. The hot water returns to the pool.

In order to maximize the heat generated, the solar panel should be exposed to sunlight as long as possible, preferable to install it with the panel facing south and with an inclination of between 30º and 45º . It is recommended to complement the installation of the solar panel with a thermal blanket. In this way it is possible to maintain the temperature of the water during the night and conserve the heat generated by the solar panel during the day. It is possible to connect several panels depending on the volume of water in each pool. Recommended minimum number of panels (with more panels the pool will heat up more and faster):

• Round above ground pools:
  • < 4.6m: 1
  • 5.5 - 7.3m: 1-2
  • < 8.2m: 2
• Oval above ground pools:
  • < 3.7 x 7.3m: 1
  • 3.7 x 8.5 - 4.9 x 7.6m: 1-2
  • 4.9 x 9.8 - 5.5 x 10.4m: 2
• Inground pools:
  • < 4.6 x 9.1m: 2
  • < 4.9 x 11m: 3
  • < 6.1 x 12.2m: 4

Requires a pump with a recommended minimum power of ⅓ CV for hydraulic circulation through the solar heater. The power required depends on the distance to the pool. For a panel located at a maximum distance of 9 meters from the pool and one floor above, a 1 CV pump will be required.
