Surface Pumps
In GrupoPoolplus we have two types of surface pumps: vertical surface water pumps and horizontal surface water pumps, both work out of water, which will facilitate its maintenance and increase its comfort.
The function of the pump is to suck in and evacuate water. These pumps are the solution for pumping clean, waste and charged water, which makes them the ideal product for extracting water in swimming pools, wells or for irrigation of gardens or crops.
In our pool accessories store you can buy the best surface pumps, as well as submersible pumps, at the best price and safely.
What are surface pumps?
There are two types of surface pumps: vertical surface water pumps and horizontal surface water pumps, both operate out of water, which will facilitate their maintenance and increase their comfort.
Surface pumps are sump pumps that are installed on the surface of a natural or non-natural water source. Unlike the submerged pump that must be immersed in water to pump, this one must work outdoors. The maximum depth it reaches is 8 meters.
This pump can reuse irrigation water for its own use, which helps the environment and reduces excessive water waste. The only characteristic that must be followed is that the extracted water does not have many impurities.
There are several types of pumps such as three-phase and single-phase electric pumps or models that run on gasoline.
How does this type of pump work?
The water is sucked into the body through a hose connected to the suction.
The motor is connected by electricity and controls the suction that takes place in its body. which, later, will circulate the discharge and water. The pressurized water then goes to the discharge connection. Finally, the water is reused because it is evacuated to a reuse group. The motor is gradually cooled by the passage of water and fins appear on both sides of the pump.
What kind of quality can bomb?
Depending on the quality of the water and its thickness (mm), the suspended particles may absorb various types:
- Charged Waters: contain a thickness of less than 20mm. These usually prevent rivers, wastewater...
- Clean water: less than 5mm thick, as is the case with rainwater and a well.
- Heavily charged water: they have a thickness greater than 20mm, as is the case with flood waters. The most advisable thing for these types is to use them together with submersible pumps.
