CTX-21 Alka+

Powdered alkalinity increaser, CTX-21, is used to increase the alkalinity of water when it is less than 125 ppm. >Total alkalinity indicates the amount of alkaline components (carbonates, bicarbonates and hydroxides) dissolved in swimming pool water.
Alkalinity has an important role as a regulating effect of pH changes (buffer effect), so that if the alkalinity is not in the values of 125-150 ppm there will be oscillations with the pH, not being able to achieve stability of the pH. pH, so that there may be high or low pHs, that is, problems of turbidity, scale, or corrosion, eye irritation, greenish coloration of the water respectively.

Prevents irritation of the skin and eyes of bathers, corrosion of the metal parts of the pool and excessive consumption of disinfectant due to an imbalance in the water.
Add 1.8 kg of product, to increase the total alkalinity of 100 m3 of water by 10 ppm, this dose being indicative.
The total alkalinity of the water should be between 125-150 ppm (CO3Ca), and its control will be carried out by means of a test kit once a week.
Pour the necessary dose of product dissolved in water, and distribute said solution on the surface of the pool evenly.
